Opportunity Homes, Inc.

Utilizing residential options, the mission of Opportunity Homes, Inc. is to assist individuals with disabilities in skill development and choice making, which will allow them to access supports and services necessary to reach their potential.

Opportunity Homes, Inc. services are guided by the State of Iowa.  The Department of Human Services is the regulatory entity which accredits the agency's programs to ensure quality services are provided.

Currently, Opportunity Homes, Inc. Home & Community Based Supported Community Living services are accredited with a Three Year with Excellence, awarded by the Department of Human Services through Home & Community Waiver services.  This is the highest possible accreditation within the HCBS-SCL program.

The Chapter 24 and Habilitation programs both were awarded a Three Year accreditation through the MH/DD Council, which is also under the Department of Human Services.  This is the highest possible accreditation within the Chapter 24 program.
